Club grounds carry a season’s worth of local business in one fence line. Every board has to read at speed from the sideline and survive a Tyrone winter.
The brief
Local clubs bring us a list of sponsors each season: a logo, a preferred colour, sometimes just a business name and a phone number written on a form. The brief is the same every time — turn that into a board that looks designed, not knocked up overnight, and get it on the fence before the next home game.
How we approached it
We start with what each club sends us: logos, colours, contact details, taglines. Where a logo has been resized and re-saved one too many times, we redraw or vectorise it so it prints sharp at pitch-board scale, not just business-card scale. Layout is built to match the club’s own style so a run of boards along one fence line reads as one job, not eight different ones stapled together.
Every board goes back to the club or the sponsor as a digital proof before anything is cut, with a quick turnaround on any edits. Once approved, boards are produced in-house on ACM panel with UV-stable inks and a laminated finish, built for a season left outdoors. Each one is checked for colour accuracy, alignment and finish before it leaves the workshop, then fitted on site — securely fixed, correctly placed, and looking right from the stand.
Through the season
Sponsors change. Clubs add new partners mid-season or want a replacement board turned around quickly. Because the artwork and layout files stay on record, that’s a fast job rather than one starting from scratch.
If your club needs a run of sponsor boards, or just one, send us the logos and colours you have. We’ll tell you what needs cleaning up before it goes to print.
