JRS Commercials & Cars: a showroom wall that sells before the sales pitch

Northern Ireland. Full-wall racetrack graphics and branding wrapped around a car showroom floor, designed to hold its own against the stock parked in front of it.

A showroom wall is competing with the cars parked in front of it. It has to lose that fight gracefully and still do its job: telling a customer whose forecourt they just walked onto.

The brief

A site survey came first, capturing accurate measurements and photographing the showroom from every angle a customer would actually stand at, including the corner junctions where two walls of graphics would need to meet cleanly. From there we talked through the look JRS wanted: a wet, night-lit racetrack scene behind the JRS Commercials & Cars star-and-wordmark, matched to the energy of the stock on the floor rather than a plain corporate backdrop.

How we approached it

Concepts were drafted against the real survey photographs so the racetrack imagery lined up with the actual wall proportions and the showroom’s own hexagonal LED lighting rig, rather than a generic room. Drafts went back and forth over email, refined until the scene and the wordmark sat exactly where JRS wanted them across each wall.

Before production, we imposed the finished design onto the survey photos so JRS could see precisely how the graphics would look with their own lighting and floor in the shot, corner junctions and all. Once signed off, the walls were produced and fitted to match.

On the showroom floor

Whichever car is parked in front of it that week, the wall behind it does the same job: a showroom that looks considered rather than left blank, and a brand that reads before a customer has spoken to anyone.

If you are fitting out a showroom or trade counter, send us the room, however awkward the corners. We will tell you what the survey needs to capture before we draft anything.
